Favorite things:    Sunny days, mountains, the ocean,  dogs, children,  riding back roads, travel, knitting, gardening, movies, people (especially my grandkids)! 

 READING!  I remember when I first learned to read, it was like opening a lock--and I've been hooked ever since!  My favorite genres are historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers (not a lot of blood and gore, but rather espionage, layers and twists and turns), cozies,  books by VT authors.

Favorite authors:  Sharyn McCrumb, Janet Evanovich, Dorothy Gilman,  David Baldacci, Daniel Silva, Harlan Coben, Archer Mayor.
